Power does negate speed. I'll tell you what, you take any fast fighter and hit him hard in the ribs and tell me that he doesn't lose speed. It is the body attack, more than anything, that takes speed away from fighters but if you have a powerful body attack then you are really equiped for reducing your opponent's speed (assuming you can hit your opponent's body, of course).

All that **** doesnt matter. Every one has advantages and disadvantages. It comes down to whoever can use theres the best. Speed and Power, all that **** works bothways

I know, but if he fights that way with Cotto and Tszyu he can lose even though I think he can beat Cotto fighting that way. Tszyu on the other hand is a different monster.

I think everyone is jumping the gum a little. First off Floyds spedd and reflexes will give Cotto alot of trouble and Floyd just does not get tired. Also, agiainst Corley Floyd kind of brawled and was hit with some big punches but he said" he was fine and i believe he was. This kid brusells looks alright but he going down. Cotto Vs Floyd will be great after PBF works Gatti.
