you could tell in the corley fight he lost a little speed, and cotto keeps his chin tucked tight as hell, floyd is not a onepunch guy, cotto's size will neutralize floyd's speed advantage, the guy hits hard man, i think it would be fight of the year type stuff though ill tell you that

Randall Bailey hits harder than Floyd, I'll guarantee you that! Also, PBF has never been known for power, even at lighter weights. We all know that as you go up in weight your power is affected so at 140 his punch shouldn't be that bad for Cotto. The only thing Mayweather would have an advantage over Cotto with is his speed but we all know that power negates speed and vice-versa. It should be a great fight, one that I think Cotto has a very good chance of winning.

Back to Henry, tho, if he can catch Floyd like Corley caught him in the 4th round, I think we can say good night to Floyd. He better stay ellusive and not get too close to the ropes.

True fighters do often lose power when they go up but PBF will be different. Unlike Shane Mosely PBF throws combinations...and with his speed it will be the punch you don't see coming that will put you down. Bruseles will be no test....I would love to see the Cotto fight though....but if Cotto always wants to come in the ring at 155....15 pounds over the weight limit he is currently fighting in he should just move up already. A jr middleweight should be able to beat a jr welterweight.

I don't think you'll see Floyd stand still when facing known power hitters like Cotto & Tszyu.
He stood there with Corley because he thought Corley couldn't hurt him, & he was wrong.
Floyd didn't let corrales whack at him....& he won't against any real threat.

Look for him to use those unbelievable skills when the time comes....& expect anyone he faces to have a ton of trouble getting to him.

Where did you get the idea that power negates speed?
and where did the other guy the idea that size negates speed?

The only reson that Chop hurt him is because he is a lefty. Wht cant people see that? The first time he stunned him was because he caught Floyd while he was swinging. A punch that has KO alot of fighters. The second time he stunned Floyd he had a perfect defense and Chop still hit him square on the chin because he was a leftie and when that happeneds it hurts you even more because no right handers can hit you with that punch. He will KO Bruseles in 5 rounds. No more then 7

                LEGS!

That's how Mayweather can win fights over Cotto and Tszyu. He's standing flat-footed right now, I need to see how his legs are at 140. That's what I will be looking out for on Saturday, movement and fast combinations.

Power does negate speed. I'll tell you what, you take any fast fighter and hit him hard in the ribs and tell me that he doesn't lose speed. It is the body attack, more than anything, that takes speed away from fighters but if you have a powerful body attack then you are really equiped for reducing your opponent's speed (assuming you can hit your opponent's body, of course).

He's standing flat footed because he is sitting down on his punches because he's a more offensive fighter now. He can still dominate all these guys that way
