In the same way that white men can't jump, Indians can't fight

but white man still plays basketball. Not hating on India here, i love indian women and indian food. Just kinda odd that they dont participate in boxing.

Its an untapped resource in India.

cricket sucks massive balls and does not really require elite athleticism. Ive seen some of their "stars." Its like the golf version of baseball.

absolutely. i mean its not like Indians are small and weak.

I went to school with a lot of big ass indians.

If i was a promoter id stage some fights there and open up a boxing club. Fighting is innate, its universal, and its in everyone. I cant believe none of the big promoters have tried to set up some kind of boxing club and get first dibs on developing talent.

India has given us yoga and various forms of martial arts, so they indeed have a fighting history, just not in terms of sport.

Here in the UK we have a Boxing Gym in just about every town in some towns 2 or 3...

in a country like India they dont have such privileges

Facilities are important, as well as coaches and trainers with knowledge of the sport.

Boxing can only flourish if facilities are available and the right info is given to people interested in the sport and it also helps if the government arent making hell for the sport.

Every country on the planet has a special somebody, its a matter of that special somebody getting in to boxing

why would indians be so excited to see someone british of pakistani descent or an african american, neither of whom i imagine has ever been to india, a country which apparently has no real interest in pro boxing

maybe they'd want to see khan lose but then you could hold a fight in the north pole and people would wanna see khan lose
