I was split 50/50 before,but now I'm really rooting for The Pin to win against Jennings.when Jennings was quizzed would he like to face Perez or Wilder,should he beat Szplika he didn't seem overly keen.Szpilka wants either after beating Jennings.this is what we want to hear,fighters wanting to tough it out for a title shot.that said I rate Perez higher than all the WBC ranked fighters,I think he's got all the above mentioned guys numbers from Stiverne right the way through to Andy Ruiz,I don't see anyone in that top fifteen as good as him,Stiverne may be able to give him a good fight but from what I've seen he's head and shoulders above the rest.

perez beat abdusalamov but perez was the first live body he fought other then a washed up jameel mccline. perez is pretty small & when he gets in there with the bigger boys he could have some trouble. i want to see him fight a couple more guys before i consider him a top guy.

He shouldn't look past Jennings, I think Jennings beats him with movement and boxing.

I don't know anything about Szpilka but if I were him I would avoid Perez. Perez is a tough S.O.B.. He can take a hell of a punch and throw one. Plus he's a damn good boxer. Now as far as Wilder and Jennings go; If Szpilka is the puncher he's hyped up to be those should be some exciting fights.

Yes ,very scary combo when u can punch the way Perez does and have a chin like him. Height wise he is small for a heavy weight and we may need a few more fights to know for like JoeStrong said but I believe he's faced these same problems in the amateurs and overcome them . He might be the one to make HW division exciting again .

@hay-b, If you don't know about Szpilka then how can you make an assessment? Perez has a low ko% and couldn't even drop a fighter who had a broken hand in the 2nd round (Magomed threw and connected more power punches in that fight as well). All Perez has is an adequate jab...Szpilka is going to expose Perez proper.

He'll beat Jennings but Perez and Wilder beat him. Wilder KOs him and Perez schools him with a possible stoppage.

where does the Perez hype come from? He beat up Mago who never had nothing except power against low level competiton, up to that point his biggest win was UD against Travis Walker. He was getting hit quite a lot by Mago, we need to be carefull, Perez might get cought by Takam.
