These are my greatest fighters in the time I've watched boxing. They are highly influenced by favoritism:
1. Naseem Hamed - My favourite fighter in terms of someone who I've actually seen.
2. Ricky Hatton
3. Nigel Benn
4. Lennox Lewis
5. Oscar de la Hoya
6. Mike Tyson
7. Roy Jones jr
8. Floyd Mayweather
9. James Toney
10. Erik Morales
Honourable mentions go to Pacquiao, Calzaghe, Kessler and Froch.Comment

People do tend to forget how beastly Prime Oscar and Tyson were.. both easily make the top 10 of the last 20 years.Comment

Lewis ATG, Pacquiao ATG and Ward probable future ATG. Of all the names mentioned on this thread, you want to post smilies in reply to mine?
Nah, I don't accept that, cheating in this sport is criminal. They get nothing, ditto the rest of the drug cheats listed. This isn't running around a track or putting the shot, boxing is not a game.Mosley i dont rank as high as others,,,
toney and holyfield were already hall of famers before they became drug cheats.....
Holyfield probably started after the moorer loss, and toney is wasnt till he was at heavy,, not trying to make excuses for them, but they early clean years make them great IMOLast edited by Weebler I; 01-04-2014, 09:15 PM.Comment

Why is Ward a probable ATG? He has very few meaningful wins, and the best fighter he faced was Carl Froch, that's not ATG material, you do not know the history of the sport and do not know what it takes to be an ATG.
The reason I was amused by your post is because you don't know what you are talking about and haven't watched much boxing.Last edited by RubenSonny; 01-05-2014, 02:36 AM.Comment

Mine is the same as yours good list. Good post.So this is a question I've been wondering about, of all the fighters you guys have seen in your life time: has to be guys you've seen fight live or on TV/PPV etc who fought in your own lifetime who you have a clear memory of. For example, I was very young when Whitaker and Chavez ruled the roost and the first clear memories I have of them are when they were post-prime and losing to guys like Oscar. So fighters like that can't be ranked as highly, as I only saw them as faded boxers. Understand the rules? Great.
So rank your top 10 and why u have it like that.
Mianly done this cos I know there's a lot of guys who are on this forum who may have watched boxing in the golden age and quite a few who have started watching in the Pac/May era. So here goes:
Bernard Hopkins
Manny Pacquiao
Felix Trinidad
Roy Jones Jr
Floyd Mayweather
Oscar de la Hoya
Lennox Lewis
Marco Antonio Barrera
Erik Morales
