These things depend mainly on amateur systems, the USA's amateur system is weaker now than it was 20 years ago but the money is there and the more money you have the better will be your amateur system or something like that so just when boxing gets mre recognition again in the states more money will be in boxing again. In the USA boxing also has a rich history so I'm not worry about them. "Toughest, most athletic people on the planet" is also a rational/national bull****. With the same effort you mentioned high jumpers I can mention marathon runners or sprinters who are mainly blacks. So there goes your agenda. And the usual eastern-euro fighting style is everything but athletic.

Absolute BS - what i've highlighted here - Ukraine had the most medallists in boxing in the 2012 Olympics and they don't have a lot of money at all to be pumping into boxing specifically - it's all the legacy of sports continuing from the Soviet era - along with Great Britain who admittedly pumped a hell of a lot of money considering boxing is on the rise and it was a home Olympics - but they came only joint top considering they invested a lot more, and the top 5 comprised of those 2 nations at the top, along with Cuba, Russia, and Kazakhstan/Ireland tied. In the last Olympics since 2000 countries who have extensive amateur backgrounds and schools with much more money put into them than the Eastern Euro/Cuban boxing schools have been less successful than those said boxing schools.

Money is a side issue, there are just different eras where different groups produce better fighters. It's all to do with how many athletes are participating at a particular time. In the USA the athletes are picking other sports than boxing so there is a smaller talent pool. But boxing is a sport where sometimes old school methods are the ones that are more effective - so it doesn't matter how much money you pump in, you need the correct schooling that's been done for generations, and the right talent pool of athletes to coach and ready them to be winners.

Right now there is somewhat of a takeover but that doesn't mean American or black fighters are not going to be champions or etc, it's more a case of groups of talent coming along. This particular era is shaping up where there are going to be a lot of Eastern Euro fighters at the top. Maybe in the next era that will change.

If you are doing sports whites dominate. They dominate the Olympics in medels and the winter Olympics. They dominate cycling, wrestling, skill sports, Strength sports, lifting, worlds strongest men, swimming, tennis, golf, soccer, etc.

And Marathon running is not African Americans, they do very little in stamina events. Whites do well in middle to lobg distance second to the west Africans etc.

if you tally up the medals by race you will find in Both Winter Olympics and Summer Olympics is domianted by whites. The UK for example had over 50 percent of medas won by posh privately educated White Suburben people.
