Fair enough... I clearly stated in my post that i dont speak russian, and i also stated i was just going on the transcripts i have seen, and clearly said at the end of my post that maybe something got lost in translation, giving kovolev the benefit of the doubt...

I said that from what i have seen/read IMO it seems kovolev is racist.... IMO

On NSB it is only acceptable if your racists against African-Americans or those of African descent. You will not get banned and you will not get checked by other posters who are not African American. Those are the rules, it should not be a surprise. Kovalev could come out right now and say he wants to hang his next black opponent, and these cowards would say "it's ok, they hang black people in his country all the time". If you're black, you're the enemy.

Don't be silly. This isn't a defense of a racist thug, but an attempt to explain how a guy from a different culture making comments considered inappropriate in a society with different mores shouldn't necessarily be judged in the same way as someone who originates in or understands that culture. Also that s#it gets lost in translation.
