I believe George Groves beats Andre Ward

And even his performance against Froch was far from the domination people seem determined to remember it as. Groves was possibly within a round or two of getting stopped.Groves has talent but people are taking way too much from a good performance against an ageing Froch. I like Froch but the guy is slow, crude and clumsy at the best of times.
Groves is still a prospect in my eyes, he needs time and work. Hes noway near ready for Ward. He ought to target maybe an Abraham, Rodriguez or Stieglitz. Maybe a Bika.Comment

Ward can't be beaten -- because he doesn't even understand the term.
If in whatever danger, Ward is capable of using the dirtiest possible tricks -- which he is usually presenting like nice boxes of chocolate...Comment

Groves is slippery as **** and will present ward with a live, constantly moving target unlike any of his last 4 opponents. Add to that his explosive power and Andre "Jesus reincarnate" Ward will have a serious fight on his hands.
Only problem would be Groves' stamina. Boi needs to get on the hill sprints, don't know about now but before his morning run consisted of jogging slowly round a rugby pitch for half an hour. That **** ain't gonna fly at championship level.Comment

This is precisely a "holy gift" for Andre "Jesus reincarnate" Ward -- Ward is "stamina" personificated...Groves is slippery as **** and will present ward with a live, constantly moving target unlike any of his last 4 opponents. I'm open to any semiotic modulation on that "nickname". But it still is a blasphemy from the perspective widely shared in my part of the world. I know that things are different in the U.S., though...Comment
