Omar is gonna beat the dog **** out of Alvarez doe. To be honesnt I haven't seen Canelos brother fight, I'll need to watch some clips.

I saw some sparring but that's it
he sucks, I watched him on his US debut fight and he robbed Rod Salka on a UD.
he looked average as ***. same style as his brother but not same power and he also works in spurts, hardly any combos mostly 1-2 punches. Figueroa is gonna put a hurting on him.

... Everybody gets "exposed" eventually... But, nevertheless, it's a pleasure to watch the Figueroa kid fighting -- pure Latino school product.

        Angulo dammit, please be Angulo!
don't ever wanna see another Molina fight again, screw him
his style is just too damn ugly and bad to watch
surely Alvarez' team knows that, plus the fact that he's a threat
after the Floyd drubbing that's the last foe Alvarez needs
he's gotta win and look good to build on the exposure he got w/ Floyd
Angulo is no pushover but he's the more appealing opponent
doesn't matter if Molina has a belt, don't think they'll go at him
Angulo-Alvarez is an action fight and both will get their chances

neither guy can possess a threat to Alvarez;mayb Angullo 4 the initial rounds...I will not pay 2c this...as 4 Ricardo, his 1st fight is the scale 2 get down 2 the LW limit...2 tuff fights in a row for Figueroa & his fragile hands...this is the better of the 2 though Alvarez doesn't deserve the fight after the "gift" win vs Silka...

Why not James Kirkland? He already beat Angulo, fan-friendly, no contract with either HBO or Showtime, and he is promoted by 50 Cents so no TR/GBP beef. Make it happen!

I don't think GBP wants to deal with Fitty.

I'm with you in a sense but I like it because Alvarez would get rid of him. Molina really isn't that good, his style has only been working because he's been fighting against opponents who can't fight on the inside, Kirkland made the mistake of bulking up too much and putting on too much weight which made him slow and even then Kirkland was building momentum towards the end. Canelo-Molina wouldn't be boring, Molina's style wouldn't work against a fighter like Alvarez or Cotto. Guys who can throw short compact combinations in close know how to handle spoilers like Molina.

Canelo's future is starting to look pretty dim compared to his time last year. Neither Angulo or Molina will sell much. Then after this fight who's left to fight but Lara? (which he'll probably lose)

He might have to start thinkin about going to 160 sooner rather than later if he wants to be a ppv fighter

A Canelo who walks 173 in the fight night has no business in the jr. middleweight division.
