I'm with you in a sense but I like it because Alvarez would get rid of him. Molina really isn't that good, his style has only been working because he's been fighting against opponents who can't fight on the inside, Kirkland made the mistake of bulking up too much and putting on too much weight which made him slow and even then Kirkland was building momentum towards the end. Canelo-Molina wouldn't be boring, Molina's style wouldn't work against a fighter like Alvarez or Cotto. Guys who can throw short compact combinations in close know how to handle spoilers like Molina.

So umm where exactly did you get this impression from? From him fighting Baldomir The ATG or Josesito The Great?

Not only that, but how in gods name is Molina or Angulo (especially Molina) a cherry pick, coming off the first loss of your career?

The thing is this:

Angulo will make in a more enjoyable fan friendly fight. but will not do much to Canelo's resume.

Molina will make in a dirty boring fight but will add a nice foe defeated if Canelo beats him that night.

Molina was defeating Kirkland till ref dq him, Molina beated Lara according to many fans and experts, Molina fought with Chavez Jr. when he was steppin up and many believed Molina beat Chavez JR in their first fight. Molina beated Spinks and Smith who was comming of a winning against K9 and was the current champion.

So anyone who says Molina is a cherrypick "don't know **** about boxing".

Molina fight was a draw but he caught Lara on one of his worst days while he fought a great fight. **** that though, Canelo vs Lara is the fight that needs to happen.
