I have had enough yes and i have been buying pac and floyd ppvs for the past 5 years, but there comes a point when enough is enough.

I aint buying either of their fights anymore, and btw this shouldnt even be directed at floyd only, manny is to blame as well, yes, though floyd obviously has more of he blame.
Thing is i dont think pacquiao is doing enough to fight floyd at all costs.

How about this after floyds next fight, why not step in the ring and confront him directly and call him out right there and then, how about for his next fight, go and beat rabchenko, floyds mandatory for his junior middlewight title. Then floyds in a corner, and if he does end up dropping both belts to avoid fighting manny, then it will be considered as the greatest duck in boxing history and no one, not even floyds most loyal fans can defend that move.

Pretty much. The man took several months off after killing it at the box office. Offered Manny several million to change his and his family's life and Manny straight up refused it all.

Now he comes crawling back with his fans wanting "another chance, please".

You hemmed and hawed, played the delay game, posed for the media, claimed "Floyd don't make the rules", sued in court for pocket change, sang songs, got KO'd... And now you're forcing random drug tests on your opponents, and everything is ok now?

        Oh RLY??!!

            "Boytcott Mayweather's Fights"

Does everybody understand that just because you are the best does not mean that you have to fight the next best guy every time out. It's unwise and would tear a fighter apart in quick time, especially at his level with the weight gains and weight class jumping.

It's taken me time to warm to Jr. He has done many things but he has yet to lose, you can not knock him. He's making tons of money for being able to display a defense that few have been able to penetrate Even when they have penetrarted hs defense he has met them with an offense, which is obviously hampered in power with the moving of weight classes but is sizzlin' and oh so pinpoint accurate.

Could it be that 'Pretty Boy' knows EXACTLY what's up? Could it be that 'Pretty Boy' is not just a nick name for Floyd Jr but rather a way of life for him.

He will fight who he will in the near future showing his fine use of the shoulder 'roll'. He may not fight all of the fights that you wish he would. He may not thrill people with his 'defense first' strategy that he employs but know this, he does believe and pray for one thing through. That he will be able to enjoy his eventual retirement with his millions and the 'family' that he has built around him. I hope that it works out that way for him.

If you want to boycott his bouts then by all means do so. Many people will pay hoping to see Jr lose, just the same many people will pay to see him win. But when it's all said and done, with Floyds retired, the people quit giving their money and you're left with what you have left. Financialy, verbally, the equilibrium, the memory, the cognitive and motor skills, etc.

Floyds made his money and earned the respect around the world. You want to boycott his fights? Well don't let the door hit you in your ass on the way out. We have Floyd for possibly a couple more fights, if that even. I may shell out for Floyds next bout, it would seem to me that I would be watching the new milleniums Willie Pep. A defensive wiz with tons of knowledge and skil, not to mention NOBODY has been able to beat him.

In todays society brutal violence has become more attractive than the arts, it is what it is. We like offense, right? Give us offense...... and then when you're done give us more offense. After that give us more offense and so on..........

The only thing that essentially matters to the masses, when it's all said and done, are wins and loses. For the fighters there is so much more at risk than just wins and loses. Floyd wanted to be called 'Pretty Boy', we did and he is. Don't jump in his ass for trying to make sure that he'll be 'Pretty' in 10 or 15 years from now, with his speach and everything. If you see Floyd Jr. in 10 or 15 years from now go shake his hand and introduce yourself. Hopefully he'll be 'there'

Go ahead and boycott, you and all of your non art lovin' friends, Floyd will still be getting paid................ Rockin'

The definition of " Craziness " is to make a thread about boycotting Khan fight, and not Guerrero, Mosley, Judah, ... and all these **** fight !!

Khan is the best boxer Floyd has faced in over a decade !!
              _____________

Anyway, I am with the idea of boycotting Mayweather PPVs unless the opponent is Pacquiao, Martinez, GGG, Lara, or any credible opponent

I voted I would boycott the fight if he fights Khan because that is what I would do if I was a pay for view buyer. I never buy fights. I love boxing but I also love saving money. I get HBO and Showtime so I can watch boxing. When there is a pay for view fight I find out who won and how the fight went from boxing boards but I never buy the fight. I just wait a week and watch replays of the fight for free and tape the fight if it's a good fight. I don't mind waiting a week to see the fight. It's worth the wait to me because I save $50 or more.

I won't be watch May vs Khan even if I was being paid too. I can't think of a worse fight.

It's hard to boycott floyd fights if there are some intriguing bouts on the undercard. You get suckered in sometimes like I wasn't sure if I was gonna buy the canelo fight I was gonna watch it somewhere else but when my boy swift got out on the undercard I had to watch. Easier said then done.

                    • These boycotts don't work because the number of people boycotting the fight is so small that the people who make money from the fight don't even notice the tiny amount of money they did not get due to the boycott. If every member of Boxing Scene boycotted a Mayweather fight they would be such a small, insignificant percentage of the total number of people that buy that fight that the boycott would have no impact at all.
