I do agree guy has been on a steady decline yet still gets the shot. This is mainly because of HBO and Goosen. To be fair however Arreola is a recognizable name at Heavyweight....Fury, Wilder, or Perez are not but all three would probably whip the sht out of him.

That just means he was hit hard. Getting your nose broken in a boxing match is not an excuse for losing. It's the same rationalization I see for Matthysse and his broken orbital bone.

Arreola's nose is his weakness.

He was fighting fine until Stiverne smashed his fat nose, then blood was pouring out and he couldn't breathe for the remaining 9 rounds of the fight. He also said in an interview that it was extremely painful getting hit in the face after that, so he wasn't fighting at his best.

We could see a completely different Arreola this time.

I really though Stiverne was going to stay active after the Arreola fight. Instead he played it safe saving his #1 ranking to challenge Klitchko, all while stay rusty by being inactive in the ring.

Arreola has another tough fight ahead of him, he can change his style a bit. I still think Stiverne going to win but just not so sure anymore, now that i hear that Stiverne has just stayed inactive for so long. He could have been a fair heavyweight, i am not sure he has the drive.

Has Stiverne even been in the gym? Arreola at least foguht Mitchell.
