Is there really someone out there who'd like to see Maywheater vs Khan?

This fight will do very good numbers, mark my words. I will come back when/if it is made and finished. It will do solid numbers in the US, especially off the back of Canelo. Min 1 million buys, and 500-750k in the UK. That is a big income stream, not to be ignored.

Khan is a style that Mayweather hasn't yet fought, thus I would like to see it. As long as it lasts I think Mayweather will be vulnerable and will struggle with Khans speed. Khan may get caught sooner rather than later, in fact I would say its a high probability, but who doesn't want to see a knockout. What's not to like about this fight? Much more interesting then Maidana...I have seen Mayweather in that fight many times.

Except I wont be paying any to see this fight, what a disgrace of a fight for Floyd.

Weebler is right tho, at this point, I just wanna see how Floyd handles a different style than come forward no defense brawler (no disrespect to Maidana, great victory over Broner).

Like most of you I don't care for the fight but if it gets made more than likely I will get it. It's hard to justify a fight with Khan because he hasn't looked that good recently and would probably get beat easily. But let me get this straight, Maidana is more viable because he beat Adrian Broner? Most people on here thought Broner was pure hype, he gets beat by a decent fighter and now that said fighter is the one to beat Mayweather. If the criteria is competitiveness for Mayweather's next PPV I don't put much stock in either fighter being competitive. While we're at it, although I've been dying to see Mayweather/Pacquiao, but a win over Bam Bam Rios doesn't automatically put him at the top of the Mayweather sweepstakes either.

Broner is definitely overhyped but it doesn't change the fact it was a good win for Maidana and definitely one that's put him in the public eye as opposed to Khan who I doubt the general public in America can remember without being reminded.

They might have been close wins, but the wins were never in doubt. Which is different to what you can say about some of Maidana's wins.

Khan hasn't dominated a single division as a professional for any amount of time. Now he's clinging on for dear life to a career that's just about over. He'll be a Sky sports commentator full time in about a year or two.

I agree it was a good win. But I don't understand how some posters can call Broner a hypejob in one thread, then praise Maidana for beating him in another thread. It's hypocricy.

Yup, it's pretty ridiculous. Both Khan and Maidana are excellent fighters and have been relevant in their divisions for a long long time (140 for Khan, 140/147 for Maidana).

If Mayweather did fight Pacquiao and beat, inevitably the same posters would come on and tell us all how he'd waited for pacquiao to get old. Even though they were the ones screaming duck to begin with!
