The guy is so big he has no choice but to stay at 147. His only choice is to move up. 156lbs on fight night at 24 years old, this guy is going to be at 154 very soon. It sucks for him because at 147-154 almost every one with a pulse beats him up.Comment

I don't support this POS anymore. He is average at best. A big mouth with out backing up your words is the worst thing.Comment

This guy still didn't learn his lesson he'll get whooped again he'll never be a mayweather I bet you he's about 160 lbs. right now...so undisciplined. Say what you want against mayweather he took two years off and looked like he never left now I know what happened against Marquez with the weight and all but you get what I'm talkin about.Comment

I understand both points but Broner wasn't the only one who took that whole event into the gutter. Paulies rant afterward was just as poor a display of sportsmanship. There is no excuse for what was done but it's not nearly as bad as walking off after the Marcos fight.Comment

The key to bouncing back is character and Broner's is very flawed in that area. Which is probably why he's going to listen to people giving him bad advice and even more probable he'll dismiss his loss and start believing in his own hype again. When is he going to get it through that ******ed skull of his, he'll never in this world or the world to come be Floyd Mayweather. Hell, he's even an insult to pathetic imitations of floyd.....Former three division world champion Adrien Broner (27-1, 22KOs) has promised to reclaim the welterweight championship. Last month at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Broner suffered his first career loss, dropping a twelve round decision, and his WBA welterweight title, to Argentine puncher Marcos Maidana.
After the match, Broner was advised by several boxing notables to drop down a division to junior welterweight. He moved up from lightweight to welterweight last June and struggled to win a twelve round split decision over Paulie Malignaggi. Broner does not appear to have a backwards step in mind. He seems to be focused on claiming another title at welterweight.
