After the match, Broner was advised by several boxing notables to drop down a division to junior welterweight. He moved up from lightweight to welterweight last June and struggled to win a twelve round split decision over Paulie Malignaggi. Broner does not appear to have a backwards step in mind. He seems to be focused on claiming another title at welterweight.

If he comes back "like nothing happened" then the same thing is going to happen again when he fights another guy who can put combinations together and absorb the counters.

If Broner doesn't learn from this defeat and change his approach he will never become the fighter some people thought he was before Maidana showed them the truth.

Precisely. I remember when getting your ass kicked was once a humbling experience.

The way I see it, Maidana has one of the highest K.O. percentages in boxing and i think the highest in the WW div and he was TRYING to K.O. Broner but could not. Broner will not be an easy K.O. and he's proved that much. If he can start to use his skill set properly he can deff bounce back and serve some pie of his own. But that's a very big IF. I don't know if he is serious enough about it at this point to make a successful comeback but if he is 100% dedicated I have no doubt he will reclaim a belt at WW.

He can eye Shawn Porter or a rematch with Maidana. He has to win against Maidana in a rematch; otherwise, he has no business being in the WW class.

I have to agree just watched the video KingMeat posted. I gave it a fair chance going in ,$h!t is wack , ripped off audio tune sound. Stick to fighting homie!!! There u have talent. I honestly think he has no chance in the music game once the gimmick wears off. He's got the perfect persona to be a rapper but he can't rap. Period ........
