Comparing a fighter who is fighting at the top stage and not trying to take the easy route to a fighter who has done nothing more than blab his way to a title fight on top of making up several excuses?
David Haye hasn't even fought in the States once!!

Completely unfair comparison as Thurman is much more talented than David Haye and you don't get the BS off him its all or nothing NO EXCUSES!

Perhaps in boxing ability there are some similarites despite Thurman capable of taking a solid shot. However there personalities are worlds apart.

Two athletic punchers masquerading as skilled boxers.....yep, sounds about right.

Haye hasn't faced the same level of opposition. He fought Wlad and didn't do anything.

No simularity at all, one is a young fighter who comes to the ring to win(Thurman)

The other comes to the ring for a pay day and wishes he was some where else when the bell rings!

I don't understand the few fans who actually think that Haye is relevant in the sport. Heres a guy that shows he has no interest in being a fighter yet his few fans think he's great!! The excuss that he's a cruiser in the wrong division gets old. If he had the talent that his fans think he has then he could defeat the "bigger" guys! He doesn't have what ALL fighters need regardless of their talent level and thats Ballz for the Sport! The guys a whimp!
                Get over it!

Yeah out of the two, David Haye faced inferior competition.....

Get over yourself Ray. This is a discussion about similarities in their fighting style, not a thread to vent your personal anger (as you have done on many occasions I have to say).

Tell me what was significantly different between Thurman's performance vs Soto-Karass and Haye's performance vs Chisora.

I don't recognize Haye as a force in boxing. He is a limited talent whose fought no one and is in a "small circle" of relevance!!
I don't have "anger" towards anyone I don't know, I'm trying to educate people who think this guys is a talent. I question his heart and his motives for being a fighter.
He simply isn't a Topic for discussion. Thats my point so carry on talking about a nobody!

I don't think Thurman is the latest thing since sliced bread but he comes to win and with that said he has NOTHING in common with the british actor your talking about!! Why insult this young fighter Thurman!

lacewhatup; if you want to "have to say" anything don't get personal on the forums just go to the PM department. I never mentioned you or commented on your agenda so relax. Don't concern yourself about me, just like Thurman is to Haye you & I have nothing in common! Ray

I definitely noticed the similarity between the two because both borrow heavily from Roy Jones Jr.
