I hear what your saying but you cannot compare Fury today to a Joe Calzaghe of anytime. Even though i believe Joe was highly overrated, I still think he is leagues above Fury in boxing skill. BUT with that said, RJJ has no business fighting Fury because Fury is a Yeti of a heavyweight and RJJ cannot take a HW punch so he would likely get caught eventually and go to sleep.

IDK if Fury is ready for Roy's supersonic speed and 30 punch combinations.

They should train him in the Himalayas with weights tied to his arms and legs.

I wish Jones would retire. This fight would look very strange though. If by some miracle Jones were to win, it would give Jones a false sense of capabilities at his age and could lead to a bigger fight where he could get seriously hurt, if not this fight.

Listen, Fury is not fighting Chisora and he's certainly not fighting Jones. He's well beyond all that. He needs meaningful, big fights this year.

A journalist asked him the question and he's responded as any prizefighter would, "If the money's right I'll fight."

Thankfully the money's never going to be right and he knows that.

Sadly, this isn't to far removed from some of things that he says in all seriousness so we're tempted to give it credence.

Which really begs the question: 'Does Roy Jones have any friends?'

Surely if he did, they'd slap the taste for fighting right out of his mouth.

Fury is so horrible that I believe Roy actually has a shot to win.

Roy would just take the payday and likely collapse from the first punch that fury lands. Thats y he wants his $ up front

Fury, standing at 6'9, called out several potential opponents on the social networks. Unexpectedly, he called out Jones, who hasn't fought at the heavyweight limit since a 2003 decision win over John Ruiz to capture the WBA heavyweight crown. It was Jones' first and only appearance as a heavyweight. Lately the 43-year-old has been fighting one division below Fury, as a cruiserweight.

I used to believe in Roy for a very longtime all the way up until Jones/Tarver II. Fury is a huge dude and knows how to use his weight and size and Roy would get hurt.
