Khan has not had a decent win in 2 years and looked terrible in his last outing anyway it will be year when he last fought if this fight goes ahead, for his sake I hope is getting a decent payday as I think he will retire after this beating.
Who is in Floyds class though?

How can you fight anyone in Floyds class without stepping in the ring with Floyd?

Garcia has a chin of iron, Lucas Matthysse hit everything under the sun on Dannys chin and nothing happened. Nobody at 140 or 147 will hurt Danny.

Khan has power, just not devastating power.

Also you mention the Diaz fight, the fight prior to Khan, we saw Diaz draw with he current IBF champ Shawn Porter, most said Diaz won that fight. He then went on to fight Khan off the back of that fight, so making out Diaz is some kind of bum is somewhat baffling.

a mere cons speed should be "throwing gayweather off" in a network tv fight. One would have to really REALLY love Floyd to pay 70 bucks for this

Ofcourse there is nobody you can truly compare to Floyd, thus i find it somewhat hilarious how folks compare Garcia and Peterson to Floyd yet we are not allowed to compare Paulie, Zab etc..to Floyd
Actually I don't remember Khan putting Peterson on the floor. But now that you jogged my memory I don't remember being anything other than a flash KD. I never said people put Maidana on the floor but he's been hurt before and after Khan.

The bottom line is, I specifically referred to Maidana and Peterson because in those two fights Khan had the speed advantage but he still had a tough time. Although he got the win against Maidana (and some feel against Peterson as well). He faded badly towards the end. I can't see how he would do better against Mayweather than these two when his skill level is far more advanced. If you're citing Khans success against defensive, technical fighters, again I asked the question, which one had the same skill level as Mayweather?

Every blog post, thread is orchestrated by khan or the mayweather team to hype this absolutely pointless fight. This fight does nothing for boxing. Floyd should be fighting Danny Garcia, Timothy Bradley or Manny Paqiou. What the F--k happened to Floyd Mayweather? Dude went from Canelo to Khan? I had respect for Floyd; much respect but this sh-t here makes no damn sense. Golden Boy is a circus and Floyd is it's clown; this fight proves it. Unf--king believable.

BoxingScene; have some respect; I thought this was the premier boxing site. Please keep it real. Put pressure on the circus and it's clown; Where are the real boxing writers and reporters? Where are the real boxing fans?
^^^^^^^^^^Umm hmm.. sure bud. Not really a real FLoyd fan, just saying it to sound like he's not hating.

Khan has a hard time with brawlers, we all know this.

Floyd is not a brawler, nor does he enjoy getting hit, he changed his trainer because of this reason.

I just dont see Floyd knocking out Khan, not if he fights him like he fought The Ghost and Canelo. The Ghost won 3 rounds against Floyd, Khan can win 5 or 6 in my book and possibly win a SD.

For Floyd to win, i believe he has to knock Khan out or make him taste the canvas a few times if it goes to a decision.

This fight really will be about Floyds power and if he can't hurt Khan, he will be in a world of trouble. You have to hurt Khan to sway a fight in ur direction otherwise he walks all over you

It was funny 2-3 years ago and it still is.

Khan is perhaps the #1 example of how people overrate speed. Speed doesn't mean squat if you can't use it right. Khan is too devoid of technical skills, ring smarts, instincts, balance, footwork, defense, accuracy, punch resistance, etc...for Mayweather. The only chance he has is if Mayweather suffers a freak accident and breaks his leg or kneecap.

Other than that, the only question is whether Mayweather wins by stoppage, or 12-0, 11-1, or 10-2. Or maybe, just maybe, 9-3.
I take it you watched UFC 168 main event this past weekend too?!?! Ugh still cringing from that replay. Bahahaha at your sig pics bro! And yah Khan's speed is overrated, I do believe his speed is his greatest asset and the ONLY thing he has that Mayweather would have to worry about. Mayweather's fragile hands better not fail him though, because that's his only hope for a KO.

I can't believe they are trying to sell this fight by talking about how fast Khan is..Dude has not won anything of importance in over two yrs now,and looked like **** in his last fight..Talk speed all you want,Khan does not belong in the same ring with Floyd at this point..

I hear what you're saying to an extent, Floyd will have to find a way to keep Khan Modest. If he can't hurt him, it WILL be a very interesting fight, people fail to realise this. Khan has trouble because of his glass chin, but Mayweather has glass kuckles and has trouble ****ING how he would like to, to KO fighters.

This fight is not such a "walk in the park" as many expect. There are a few elements that make this fight "iffy" and it will be even more so if the fight is in the UK. Mayweather will HAVE to put on a one sided 12th round dominant performance to avoid being robbed in Amir's backyard because if he cannot hurt Khan to keep him modest and Khan can win a few rounds, i can see them giving Khan a hometown bs decesion.
