It was funny 2-3 years ago and it still is.

Khan is perhaps the #1 example of how people overrate speed. Speed doesn't mean squat if you can't use it right. Khan is too devoid of technical skills, ring smarts, instincts, balance, footwork, defense, accuracy, punch resistance, etc...for Mayweather. The only chance he has is if Mayweather suffers a freak accident and breaks his leg or kneecap.

Other than that, the only question is whether Mayweather wins by stoppage, or 12-0, 11-1, or 10-2. Or maybe, just maybe, 9-3.

Khan with a Mavrovicesque chin would still be a sloppy guy with leaky defense, balance, and footwork, not very accurate, extremely technically flawed, and his ring IQ compared to Mayweather is like comparing Forrest Gump to Albert Einstein.

He'd still get tooled. For a world class fighter, Khan is just not very good. He's perhaps the #1 example of how people overrate speed and fail to look at the other attributes

Since when has Khan ever fought anyone in Floyd's class, he never hurt Garcia he may have landed a few punches but Khan has no real power just hand speed - he doesn't hit hard because when punches he gets caught when stepping back after throwing combo's. Khan has not had a decent win in 2 years and looked terrible in his last outing anyway it will be year when he last fought if this fight goes ahead, for his sake I hope is getting a decent payday as I think he will retire after this beating.

You're saying he had a tough time with slow, plodding Peterson and Maidana because they took risks, but did well against defensive technical boxers. Please name those defensive technical boxers he did well against. Are you talking about Judah, Paulie? Forgive me for not knowing or caring about who the others were but beating Judah and Paulie isn't even in the same ball park as facing Mayweather. I cannot imagine in any scenario how Khan could cause trouble for Mayweather but you and a few others think that so we'll just have to wait and see if this fight gets made.

Ofcourse there is nobody you can truly compare to Floyd, thus i find it somewhat hilarious how folks compare Garcia and Peterson to Floyd yet we are not allowed to compare Paulie, Zab etc..to Floyd
