Why does Martinez have to be less than 100% for Cotto to win?

All I keep reading is "Cotto can win if Sergio isn't 100%." That's BS IMO. Cotto has the skills to hang with a healthy Sergio and beat him. I can't be the only one who thinks that.

Sergio is bigger than Cotto and healthy he will have movement on his side, but he isn't the type of fighter who imposes his physicality and size on his opponent. He prefers for you to come at him and pepper you with his jab, right hook, and straight left counters.

Cotto can jab from the outside and get inside Sergio's reach, other fighters less skilled than Cotto have done it. The issue he needs to watch, like always, the uppercut. Sergio drives them hard and fast and Cotto needs to be prepared for this.

hes 1-2 in his last 3 fights that doesnt shine well on a fighter, plus hes fighting someone whos in almost everyones p4p rankings. I would not be surprised if cotto won but i understand why hes a heavy underdog.

Which is prime Martinez? The 34 year old who finally became MW champ? When Cotto was still at WW?

[QUOTE=TAKE THE TEST!!;14088633]Cotto loses most of his biggest fights.

What's that have to do with the thread?

Sergio is too quick on the feet for Cotto, i see late stoppage for Martinez

but it will be a great match two warriors, may the best man win

He hated Pacquiao's high volume, crazy angles, and relentless attack. Martinez doesn't bring any of that to the table, maybe the angles, but not to the same degree.
