If Golovkin wants a slightest chance of winning he best improve on his physical strength when he enters the division, Ward is a very strong guy.Comment

Its a huge fight but it needs more time to grow. Golovkin should stay at middleweight for another 1-2 years and continue his knockout run (hopefully against better opponents) to build more momentum and interest. Sooner or later Golovkin will take the challenge and fight Ward....I hate to say it but i think Ward beats Golovkin.Comment

It's pretty pathetic when halfwit's think he's ducking a fighter who ain't in his weight division. What's wrong with staying and fighting in his weight class? He'll move up when he want's too.Comment

OW - my fu#kin head - the keyboard is actually blurring in fronta my eyes..
Where was I - oh yeah.
Nah Golovkin is pretty much a natural MW -fights at 168-70 - there's JMWs who fight bigger (Trout, Nelo) - I think he'd do fine at SMW (Froch fights in the low 170s) - he'd probably throw on a few lbs and fight 172-3 but I can't see him going much bigger.
Ward is a pretty big SMW - I think fighting around 182 give or take - (about the same as Kovalev FWIW).Comment

All that Golovkin did when asked about what his dream fight would be was reply Floyd. They've (Sanchez) said that of course they would fight Floyd if it was offered but at no point have they ever pursued it.
FWIW I also think it's a pointless and irrelevant fight, but I don't understand why it's stuck to some peoples brains like chewing gum in my kids hair.Comment
