Chrystal clear -- everybody rehydrates (Canelo at 173), except for poor Andre... And presumably Martinez, who walked 154 pounds and ate steak and potatoes all week just to weigh in at 157½... when Ward tweeted (back in March 2012) that he is interested in facing Martinez...

Who said ward doesn't rehydrate
Just listen to the man himself "Ward" give the interview I posted in my previous post. I'm not infatuated fighters. Like others on this site. I love the sport of boxing.

(I never do this to anyone...)
I'm not "infatuated" to any fighter in particular. I also like this sport (obviously), but I don't like particular fighters who pretend to be what they are not.Comment

My "problem" is with Ward? What's so difficult to understand? This guy is giving away his prime because of his huge ego and his delusional idea that he's somehow the "next Floyd" -- who he is not...Comment

The only way this fight works is if GGG moves up. Both these two guys are fighting at their proper weight. It's nonsense if its a CW. Andre Ward is held at #2 on P4P and many still believe GGG is untested.
This fight has time to build.Comment

Sure, cool story bro. Huge ego would be Broner not Ward. I think it's ward's pride that makes other's upset. Don't know how he's giving away his prime? I know you said your not a fan of GGG, but he would be considered giving away his prime, he's older than ward with far less accomplishments, and since everyone thinks the other middle weights are ducking and not to fond of fighting him. Well his logical choice is to move up right?Comment
