you're not getting my point bro... the supposed kd does not fall into the category of a standing 8 count... morales was hit with a punch, held on to the ropes and stood up... under international rules, which was in effect for the fight, it should have been scored a kd for pac...

I know what you mean, its just that I have never seen someone get counted for using the ropes to stay up.

i have seen counts for fighters who haven't touched the canvas, but more importantly i have seen fighters no less than warned for simply holding on to the ropes in a non threatening situation. so, i do feel that there should be a standing 8 count for grabbing onto the ropes for clearly holding oneself up from a knockdown.
