According to international boxing rules, when a fighter holds on to the ropes to avoid a knockdown, he should still be given an eight-count and a knockdown score for his opponent.
Morales' case, when he held onto the ropes in the second and sixth round, he should have been counted.
Just read this one in an article and realized morales got away from 2 supposed kd's. if it went to the scorecards, this would have been huge...
