Murray is a coward, plain and simple. How can you defend him?

Arum flat out said he could match Bradley with Pacquiao in Feb of 2011. That's a bigger chance than Murray fighting Sturm or Martinez.
Sturm has mentioned Murray as a potential opponent.

What does Murray offer Sturm business wise?
Nothing, he's just another opponent, a guy who's more dangerous than the average bottom ranker in the top 15 of the IBF.
He could make just as much fighting Caleb Truax than a rematch with Murray.

Murray offers nothing to Sturm business wise....NOTHINGGGG
They had a controversial draw already so its a natural rematch. German TV had Murray winning.

I think the plan was for Murray to get the WBA regular and then "unify" with Sturm = big business

Okay, so when Arum outright says he can match Bradley up with Pacquiao... that means nothing and there's no future implications?

That was the plan, he was gonna take a "title" and run with it.
        That's not happening now.

He had a controversial draw. What're the chances that Sturm rematches a guy who almost beat him compared to guys who actually beat him?

Soliman had a controversial win and has a mandatory shot
Geale has a legit win and is the number three with the number 2 spot empty. An eliminator in between the Soliman fight will make him the mando.
Barker has a rematch clause and if he heals up and comes back for one fight could happen.
Stick pointless voluntaries in there to keep him tuned up and where does Murray fit in? He'll make as much money fighting somebody like Truax or some other bottom barrel WBA kid. Everyone is now going for Sturm in Germany, even Macklin, and Macklin did better

I don't think you can call GGG a star quite yet.

And what the heck happened to that guy in your sig? it looks like he was evading those shots and then he just falls down.

He's not a huge star, but he is one on HBO and his rise is really quite impressive considering he was not very well known a year and a half ago.

lol, remember this? Hard to believe this was almost 3 years ago

He's at the cusp needing that breakout fight.

And I think that guy threw the fight, lol

he does better ratings than ward or Sergio Martinez. those guys are the "cash cows' though in fantasy land.

GGG is a star. Not a mega star like Pac or Floyd, but he's a star. Ratings speak for themselves. He sold out the Theater too... Donaire couldn't even do that

I agree with that, but that's a big line to cross, he is one breakout fight away for sure. But right? I am positive I can walk outside and ask a random person and they won't know who he is. Heck even in my own gym, sadly. The younger fighters wouldn't know him, the trainers would.

                    That's a boxing problem.
If I go out and ask somebody who Adrien Broner is that wouldn't be fair....because they probably have a warrant for his arrest in the state.
But there are very few boxers random people will now, Manny and floyd. After that, it's a regional thing.
I go outside and ask somebody about Danny or B-Hop in philly... they'll know.
                    ******ia...not so much.

There are only a few...like one handful, of boxers the general public will know

That line... I don't now if Golovkin can cross it.... it's incredibly hard. I'm talking about super stardom at an international level.
He could probably do it if he keeps knocking guys out on HBO... but he has no time to do it
