    Seriously.... tell me right now.

He's been the interim for a while, got to keep his fake belt after Sergio so he can challenge the full champion and just flat out refuses time and time again.

2 reason why we though he accepted to be on the Monaco card.

    1. He was trying to build up (against weak opposition that in no way would indicate a build up fight and warm up fight was out the window since he fought in December against a guy who gave him trouble) a fight for Golovkin in the future.

    2. He was going to fight for the regular belt and finally become a world champion while bypassing the current champion (Thank god the WBA refused that B.S).

Now he's targeting Sturm.....while he's fighting on the undercard of the guy he's supposed to fight?

This is sad....there are more people who have claim over him.

Soliman- Beat, albeit controversially, Sturm at home. Although it doesn't count, Soliman is the mando and I thought Sturm won rather easy. Of course he'll want to do that first to get the mando out of the way.

Barker- He has a rematch clause and if he stays in, could fight Sturm one more time in England.

Macklin- His fight was a lot closer than Murray's. Only reason this doesn't happen is if Sturm doesn't want to lose.

Geale- This guy actually beat Sturm at home. There's a blemish he'd want to right. He's also #3, so if Sturm were to fight and beat Soliman, he'd fight somebody in an eliminator for number 1 spot and Sturm could have another mandatory fight were he wipes a blemish clean off

Other lower ranked guys for home voluntaries.

I don't believe this guy... he has a title shot sitting there staring him in the face and he's only talking about Sturm and Martinez.
Yea those are money fights, but those are money fights he isn't going to get, especially Martinez.

How is he allowed to hold the interim belt for so long? He's defending it like it's an actual title.

I just don't understand. We always hear of fighters not wanting to fight their mandatory but not the other way around.

I think those will probably be over Murray.... Murray has an outside chance

He's targeting a bigger money fight. What a novel concept.

Yea, but what are the chances of him getting it? Is he just going to hold of on the chance of getting it? His 2014 is probably already booked up.
Barker heals up, Soliman mando/rematch and a voluntary

So he should fight golovkin in the meantime.

If he beats golovkin, it will make the fight much bigger and also give him a bargaining tool with a belt and unification. But Of course not, fighting fletcher is better

Ducking is a novelty concept, I agree

IMO, Golovkin's team should just force a purse bid so he can drop the belt and we can all pretend like Golovkin's team is avoiding Murray and Murray's team is willing and eager to fight Golovkin

Golovkin's people should have made him a big offer if they were that serious about the fight. Murray has travelled to the hometowns of two champions and had questionable decisions against him - a terrible one against Martinez in particular.

Didn't they offer 500k for Monaco?
