What did he do to hit mayweather so cleanly that others haven't(besides castillo, and judah for the first 4 rounds)?

Mayweather kept walking towards him, I think that's the main difference. In most of his other fights he boxes on the backfoot. It's not all that wise to walk down a puncher (early in a fight at least).

Just looks like he snuck in a lightning fast right to me. He used the jab to preoccupy him, and snuck that right in with the might of Thor.

Yeah, Floyd was just standing there, daring him to throw something. He forgot about head movement, and using his feet.

Also didn't jab, because he knew that counter right was coming, but I guess he was caught in a moment of, "what should I do?", and got caught slipping.

This was really one of Mayweather's first fights where he continuously stayed in the pocket throughout the fight. He used to be a lot more elusive, but by the time of the fight he was 33 I believe.

Let's not forget that Mosley came off a great win, albeit a while before the fight, and was relatively quick and buzzing around on his feet. And Mosley was a great fighter as well.

Shame for him that he was way too tight throughout the rest of the round and rest of the fight. He focused too much on the knockout as opposed to just take it in his stride. He was beaten up for the rest of the fight really.

The same way Maidana set up his hook that dropped Broner. Mosley kept jabbing to the body but wasn't following it up with anything. So, in the second round, Floyd goes to parry it and Mosley immediately comes up top with that straight right. That's how you set up a punch. You'd have to watch the first round to see that.

shane looked incredibly stiff after this round, like he would move his hands a lot but not really do anything. he did the same vs pacquiao as well

I can't remember too well now and can't see the video. But if I remember correctly, Mayweather got a little too confident and Mosley caught him off guard.

that right hand he landed actually hurt mosleys chances considering he kept looking for the same punch over and over again. i think he got too excited at the thought of ko floyd

Got far too carried away trying to KO Floyd after that punch. Punched himself out and was schooled for the remainder of the fight.
