Adonis had rocky moments, but all in all he handily beat Fonfara. He greatly outlanded him and his terrible habit of backing straight out with his hands at his waist was bound to get him dropped.

He beats anyone at LHW not named Kovalev and I view that fight as 50/50. Before tonight I favored Adonis, but if Fonfara could wear him down, then the Krusher could do the same. Adonis' power gives him a shot against anyone and Kovalev is no exception.

Stevenson isn't really a guy who wants to pressure. He feels way more comfortable fighting on his back foot. When he hurts you that's when he comes forward.

Very good fight, enjoyed seeing Stevenson planted on his ass.

adonis simply fatigued in the later rounds. not surprising given his half his fights haven't lasted past the first round.

he'll retire hopkins if they do make that fight.

Yeah, good fight. I just got to see it last night. I was expecting Adonis to KO him pretty early but he gassed in the last half of the fight. I gave Fonfara 7-9, and 12 for sure, with a KD, with the rest going to Adonis with two KDs. Though I wasn't scoring that rigorously.

I dunno. The longer it goes the more it favours Kovalev. Kovalev doesn't have much movement, and is prone to going straight back. He stands a good chance of getting KOed early himself. Either guy has enough power to end it with one punch. The KD on Adonis in this fight was legit, but it was as much about being a little tangled up (because he was tired and his feet got heavy) and getting hit going back, as opposed to just the power of the punch. Kovalev doesn't like power much himself-- The last guy he fought was undefeated, feather fisted, and pretty defensively responsible. He hung in for half the fight. What happens to Kovalev when he has Adonis' power coming back at him?

Previously I leaned more Stevenson in a meeting between them, but now I wouldn't say I lean Kovalev, but it's more of a toss up in my mind.

Well, at least you've got plenty of time to find a new avatar before this fight actually happens then because BHOP will take this dude to school.....easily.
