Why did Floyd diss 50 and jerk his girl away from 50 at a photo shoot. The point is Floyd is just a guy, a rich guy but a human all the same. He can portray that he isn't fazed by things but he really is but it's just a side effect of the image he has created for himself. He works harder than anyone else, he wins more than anyone else, he is better than anyone else. That is fine but people hold him to that standard and if you are better than the greatest fighters of all time, there should be no excuse ever to not fight a guy that is in your weight class. You are going to be expected to go out there and demolish them like no one else ever has. That's not me or my standard, that's Floyd claiming he is better than Ali and Robinson. You think Robinson made up excuses to not fight guys or demanded things to gain an advantage in a fight? I don't think so but that is the way it is. Don't cry about me speaking the truth man.

Of course he's human, no one is saying he isn't my point is that he's achieved quite a bit of success in the boxing world and brought quite a lot of attention to the sport. I think he should be given some measure of credit for this but I know it isn't going to happen while he's an active fighter. Floyd has a public persona and a private one, I imagine there's a good deal we don't know about the fabulous Floyd Mayweather.

The business of boxing will trump all else, always and forevermore amen. As long as Manny remains under contract with Bob Arum the likelihood that fight will happen is infinitesimal. That has absolutely nothing to do with some imaginary standard fans are supposed to hold Floyd to. Fine, hold Floyd to impossible standards but be rational about the challenge. Bob Arum is a piece of this, just like Floyd, Schaefer, and Al Haymon are as well. These are the players that are involved, these are the people that are going to make the fight happen period. As long as these parties don't agree and as long as Pacquiao remains under contract to Arum the fight isn't going to happen. Think practically and not unrealistically, because looking at things from your point of view makes Mayweather solely responsible and a loser every time.

**** dude, surely he's done something right?

He beat Canelo at catch weight which automatically taints his victory. Anyway we all know Lara is the one to beat at 154 and Pacquiao is the one to beat at 147.

ring championship is suppose to mean everything-floyd wins 2 in one year now the ring is meaningless

Man some of you guys must actually enjoy spending your time arguing about these things.
There is feeling passionate about following a sport/sportsperson and then there is being obsessed with them...

                  He did sometimes.

He once infamously said "Burley? I'm too pretty to fight Burley." Or words to those effect.

Ali had demands on Norton for the last fight. People were on his case quite badly and he refused to fight him unless for big money which he eventually did get.

How many did Canelo Vs... Oh wait.

Oscar nor Canelo are doing those numbers with anyone but Mayweather.

Every A-Side in history has mades demands similar to Floyd but there's 24/7 sports media to cover it back then.
