You can call it whatever you want homie. But the fact is, I think I've done a fairly solid job for arguing my point that it serves Showtime no purpose to roadblock this fight. Or allow Floyd to roadblock it. I mean, there's a segment of fans that will forever believe that Floyd is ducking the fight. And that's cool. But its not really supported by anything other than like for one fighter and dislike for another. And that causes people to think irrationally. Personally, I think both sides are at fault. But in this particular situation with this statement from the Showtime prez. It doesn't even make rational sense for him to publically support Floyd if he thoughtt Floyd was full of it. They don't owe Floyd anything in terms of loyality. All they owe Floyd is a bunch of money. And they're not getting good return on their investment. And I could be wrong. But I doubt very seriously this guy is willing to allow Floyd to bull**** his company outta money because of a vendetta or simply to save face.

You mention "irrationally"..... Yet you are clinging to your belief in the mythical huge guarantees that we have absolutely no evidence have ever existed. If that isn't irrational I don't know what is.

And you have NOT made a good case for your points. I have very easily debunked everything you have pushed. And the fact that you still cling to your postulations (I can't call them anything else) regardless of the very solid comments I've made, shows....what....?? I don;t want to say it.

Forbes just read the news reports and make an educated guess. They do not have the inside information about "self-employed" fighters in a business which even the principals themselves are ignorant-compared to the promoters. Forbes do their stuff especially for Public Companies where they can get registered information. They sometimes go into the innards of a company-with the company's permission of course- and collate whatever information they garner, or are allowed to garner.

Show business is the most opaque in the world's history. There are literally hundreds, maybe thousands, of items....like for example, a very successful movie, which have been shown to have made huge losses....ON PAPER.... Boxing is show business with muscles, and we KNOW that it's almost impossible to get the REAL truth about guarantees and eventual money paid out for major fights.

If you believe what you read in an internet report of a Forbes side-issue, based on the information given to them mainly by Mayweather, or what they've read in boxing sites, well there's no point in my discussing it further with you. Although I'm sorry to say so because it has been interesting. Mayweather's guarantees have been proven to have been fraudulent. And having Forbes quote say, $100 mill income doesn't mean a thing. They certainly are not going to pay the IRS on Forbes' say-so....... Have sense man.

That kind of business is about 10 steps over our heads. At least the heads of most of us.

You can call it what you want. But all we have is the information we're given. If you think Floyd is lying about what he's making. Cool. I don't give a f.uck either way. I've order one Floyd fight in the last 5-6yrs. But I mean a lotta these insiders that have access to things we don't and they're reporting this guys guarantees. Why would Dan Rafael lie for Floyd? Why would Doug Fisher lie for Floyd? Floyd isn't well liked by the boxing media. And it goes both ways. We've heard for years that Pac has been selling all of these PPVs. But with the earnings that have been reported. His purses have been dwarfed by Floyd's, even while he was doing similar PPV numbers. So that doesn't make sense. So all of this time when folks were on Floyd about offering Pac a flat fee. If Pac's team has been lying about PPV sales. Floyd may have been justified in wanting the lion share of the money. So if we're gonna get into doubting what is reported as earnings. It cast playd on both sides of the fence.

Showtime pres is a GBP stooge, haven't you learned that by now? He was an attorney for GBP before hired by Showtime. He made it a GBP house network. He's parroting the GBP party line, what else would you expect?

OK that's fine. But in doing so, he's losing his company money. If he's so far up GBP and Floyd's asses that his loyalies lie with them and not the company that's paying him at least a seven, and maybe an eight figure yearly salary. He's dumber than a mutha****a. But assuming a man in his position isn't dumber than a mutha****a. I'm gonna stick to my guns that he's not gonna support Floyd's efforts to duck Pac, which in tterm is costing this man's employer millions.

Don't you think that asking Pacquiao to leave Top Rank for the fight IS "roadblocking"...?? I can't think it's anything else. Are you so blinded by your own argument that you can't see the facts ?? Top Rank is still the premier promoter with it's own PPV capabilities and constantly innovating the industry. And even if Golden Balls had a good year, what about it; Top Rank also had a good year. Showtime had a good year..so did HBO. But Arum and HBO have to release their long-time global icon just because Mayweather is behaving like a spoiled child and by doing this give Golden Balls and Showtime a huge achievement. You know nothing about business, and certainly not the PR business.

Phoney doesn't want to make the fight until he is certain he will win and take only little damage. That time seems not yet to have arrived.

And Showtime seems to have very unprofessionally inserted itself into the Oscar-Arum rivalry. I believe that they are doing what HBO was accused of by Arum years ago, promoting instead of showing.

I suppose you didn't know that HBO and Arum were "at daggers drawn" for years and Arum sued them.... Yet, unlike the Schaefer-Oscar-Phoney, crowd, he can put it all aside and do good business with them..... I'm signing off; I have other things to do.
