That's a lie. The temporary pre-fab stadium was to seat 40,000 and be built for MGM on a 10 acre lot they own. BUT THE FIGHT HAD TO BE AGREED.... They told Arum, and he passed it on to the public. And oh yes, Arum said that the stadium (owners and) contractors had said that they could have the stadium up in about 3 weeks (it may have been 6 weeks but think 3)

For your (idiotic) information, MGM are presently building that stadium in Las Vegas, as a permanent 22,000 seat structure, in partnership with the world wide prestigious stadium building experts AEG. In FACT, another stadium of the same size is being built by a group of investors headed by an ex NBA player called Jackie Robinson. So Las Vegas will be well fixed up for fight nights.

Problem with your theory is that its dumb as f.uck. Showtime is losing money out the ass with this Floyd contract. And there's basically no relief in site without a Pacquiao fight. So Floyd isn't their cashcow. He's actually been the total opposite. Last year would have been a disaster without the Canelo fight. Its my belief that they were trying to build Broner up to do monster numbers with Floyd at some point in 2014. That's gone. Khan or Maidana is gonna tank bad. And from the looks of things. Those could be Floyd's two opponents in 2014. So it makes ZERO sense for Showtime to do anything publically outside of saying "Floyd needs to get his head outta his ass and fight Pac." If they genuinely believed that Floyd was the one responsible for the fight not being made.

Why would Showtime help him punk out? In turn costing them millions. If you can't answer that, shut what they call the f.uck up.

Their contract with Phoney was partially revealed on this site. I recall that SPECIFICALLY the BS reporters who were analyzing the release, said "UP TO 6 FIGHTS over 30 months.....". And that Showtime would be negotiating on a fight by fight basis. So although Showtime may be able to offer the opponent, Phloyd is the one to decide if he wants to take it. My own belief is that it would take a huge problem for Phoney Phloyd to change his habit of the past 7 years. before this Showtime deal, he'd had about 4 fights in 5-6 years, and now he's fighting on average every 5 months. This could only have been because he needed the money badly. The settlement with Manny Pacquiao must have been enormous. The legal fees alone must have been millions, and he would have had to pay for all sides. Oscar broke down first, and went to hide in a sanitarium where he literally cried to Arum for forgiveness. And it was all because the MannyP lawyers casually asked to court to have Mayweather and Golden Balls supply them with his medical and testing records for his previous 8 fights. Floyd's not gonna leave because Floyd is gonna make big money regardless of whether the events sell or not. Showtime is the one losing money. That's why I'm saying it makes no sense for them to publically support Floyd if he's genuinely the one blocking the fight. Obviously, its some legitmacy to Arum being the problem if Showtime would rather lose their ass in these bull**** fights Floyd is about to put on, rather than deal with Arum.
