There is a huge pot of money for that fight and you can guarantee if PAC does leave Top Rank and signs for this fight his PPV cut will be 0%, he will get a massive flat fee ($30mil) and the rest of the massive pot generated from the fight will be split between Showtime, Schaefer, Haymon and Mayweather, they will get all revenue from this fight, Pacquaio will none, or perhaps a cut from the Phillipino revenue assuming Konzc and Pac's legal team have a clue of what they're doing.

It's a business decision, nothing as childlike as being scared. They want to cut HBO/Arum out. They want exclusive rights to the biggest fight since Ali v Frazier 1. Mayweather beating Pacquaio with TR involved doesn't finish them off, they'll earn a ton of money to reinvest and create new superstars. That's money Showtime and GBP don't want TR to receive. If Pacquaio is out of contract at the end of next year and they think they can make the fight without having to split revenue with another broadcaster and promoter then for them it will make sense to wait another 12 months or so to negotiate with Pacquaio. It's just business folks.

I'm convinced that certain posters in NSB don't even want the fight to happen, they prefer things as it is just calling Floyd a ducker and a Coward. Whether he is or not they wouldn't be able to discredit Floyd much if he 12-0 Pac or KO's him.
Honnestly no disrespect becuase I like pacman but I would have viewed this fight as a cherry pick for floyd after JMM KO'ed him.

But this fight needs to happen so we can just move on.

Just smoke screens. U can never satisfy Floyd. Before it was random drug testing. Pacquiao agreed to it all, then it was percentages. Pacquiao offered 45/45 and the winner gets the extra 10%. Floyd balked at that. Then he didn't want Floyd training in the Philippines, then he said Manny was on the down hill slide, he wasn't marketable, then he said Manny has Rios to deal with, then Manny has unfinished business with Bradley & Marquez, now it's this Arum excuse.
