The problem is Arum? Why because four people make him the problem? Supposedly he has one star left..you so confident you can beat his guy..beat him and end Top Rank. Like Hopkins did to Don King..I don't understand how people after all of this still want to allow this reasoning as Manny and Bob don't want the fight. Who are the ones saying "NO"? I mean seriously I want this fight as much as the next man but this shhh is just becoming laughable now. To the point I now don't want it to happen at all.

This is what I've been saying when a report came out that Showtime is willing to negotiate the fight with Arum. I said the Showtime exec has to make sure Floyd is agreeable with it. It's ****** to make assumptions if you think you are representing Floyd and assume he's all for it. This is what we're getting now.

Showtime wants Pac, but Floyd wants none of the superstar.

Keep in mind Arum himself has said he won't work with GBP and Schaeffer calling them names and has done the same with Showtime and Espinoza. Floyd thinks Arum owes him money.

This is not going on in a vacuum and Arum has burned those bridges, now that he wants something from them you expect those people to want to work with Arum~ C'mon man

Go to the Archives..Schaeffer started that war of words when GBP was #2 and back then he was more than willing to do business with Arum and it was always ludicrously profitable for all. The moment GBP went #1 as a promoter company in the sport Schaeffer started all that shhh about not wanting to work with Arum...which is massively hypocritical. Arum sits on one side of the table..if the numbers add up to make everyone happy I don't see the issue. Slap each others name all over the banners and the ring and make a fight. When have you ever heard of a business refusing to do actually do business if it's profitable. Arum isn't the one fighting, Arum isn't the one doing the press tour.

What you're failing to realize is that Arum could easily eliminate the problem by accepting a step aside fee. The other parties involved don't wanna work with him. So basically, by being an egomanic, he's preventing the fight from happening.

Arum and Schaeffer are businessmen who've made a lot of money working together..this is all ego bullshhh has nothing to do with the fighters. I've said this over and over again..Schaeffer wanted Arum's spot and now he's got it and his ego ballooned and he seems to forget all the fights the companies co-promoted without any issue at all. This almost like Sony telling Best Buy we aren't shipping you any PS4's because we don't like you.

Pacquiao is under contract. Floyd isnt. Its my understanding that Floyd has a pretty good relationship with Todd Deboef which is the president of TR Promotions. If Floyd really wanted this fight he would deal directly with Todd and have it be a TMT Promotion/TR promotion bout. He doesnt need GBP. But to just say that you dont want to make $80 -$100mil just because you dont like an 82yr old man is just ridiculous.

We all know who gets the big checks over at TR.

At the end of the day Bob would still make millions off of Floyds name.

Why should he? If he made the same offer to Schaeffer do you think he'd accept that? No...this is what people fail to understand..why in the world would you want to remove yourself from the biggest fight in boxing history..you'd be a fool to do so. Would you take less for stepping aside from the biggest deal closing of your life? I think not.
