This is what I've been saying when a report came out that Showtime is willing to negotiate the fight with Arum. I said the Showtime exec has to make sure Floyd is agreeable with it. It's ****** to make assumptions if you think you are representing Floyd and assume he's all for it. This is what we're getting now.
Showtime wants Pac, but Floyd wants none of the superstar.

Pac vs De La Hoya
Mosley vs Cotto
Mosley vs Margarito
Pac vs Hatton
Pac vs Marquez (first 2 fights)
Lara vs Vanes
Gamboa vs Ponce De Leon
and more were all GBP/TR co-promoted
These were recent

Schaeffer : "No..not with Arum"
Floyd : "No...not with Arum"
Ellerbe : "No...not with Arum"
Espinoza : "No...not with Arum"
Arum : "We want to make this fight"
Pacquaio : "I fight whoever they put in front of me"
The problem is Arum? Why because four people make him the problem? Supposedly he has one star left..you so confident you can beat his guy..beat him and end Top Rank. Like Hopkins did to Don King..I don't understand how people after all of this still want to allow this reasoning as Manny and Bob don't want the fight. Who are the ones saying "NO"? I mean seriously I want this fight as much as the next man but this shhh is just becoming laughable now. To the point I now don't want it to happen at all.

Me pointlessly repeating myself to the drooling hoards of Pac's goons saying what Espinoza did:

Mayweather Promotions/ Golden boy / Showtime is not doing business with Top rank/Hbo. They couldn't even get Mares vs Donaire guys. Stop with your bull**** bias towards either sides and get that simple fact through your hard heads. Move the **** on from discussing this **** over and over and over every day. They have both opening ducked and dodged each other but when it comes down to money split and trust me there is a lot of money to be made between all parties they will never settle until both boxers are promoted by the same side. Good luck with that.Last edited by nauti4life85; 12-29-2013, 04:09 PM.

Keep in mind Arum himself has said he won't work with GBP and Schaeffer calling them names and has done the same with Showtime and Espinoza. Floyd thinks Arum owes him money.
This is not going on in a vacuum and Arum has burned those bridges, now that he wants something from them you expect those people to want to work with Arum~ C'mon man

Technically, your argument is correct but you know the rivalry is a main reason this fight isn't happening.
The same argument about him going solo also applies to Pacquiao, but you know that ain't happening anytime soon.
