Why are people acting as though Arum isnt a problem? How much as he shown he really wants the fight? Before the Rios fight he claimed he still wanted the Mayweather fight but then says they have to call him all while he BEGS Marquez for a 5th fight. Not to mention the stadium, drug testing, pacquiao's phantom cut, etc.

You're forgetting 1 thing. Floyd claims he isnt a GBP fighter and instead has a fight by fight business dealing with them. Floyd can easily say, I'm going solo on this one guys or use someone like Goosen like he did when he fought Baldomir.

Ok, when was the last time a Mayweather fight was promoted by someone other GBP? When was the last time he fought someone promoted by TR?

Technically, your argument is correct but you know the rivalry is a main reason this fight isn't happening.

Some people are ******. You really think Floyd is going to let TR do the promotions for the fight when Richard Schaefer who is GB does all the promotion and handling for Floyd in all of his fights? He is the one that does the negotiations for Floyd too. Why would he burn bridges with Haymon and GB? On top of that, this fight will have to be on ShowTime through a contract bind AND if you really think HBO is going to let that slip through their fingers you are a fool. HBO has a deep friendship with TR now and Floyd is bound to ShowTime through a contract. Mind you Arum has stated over and over he will never do business with GB(Richard Schaefer) ever again. This fight has very little chance of being made unless Manny does actually leave Arum. Even if Mayweather didn't have all those other "excuses", the fact still remains this fight still never had a real chance in the first place.

Yes because Shaefer is pleasant to work with. He's just as bad and maybe even worse than Arum to work with. In just a few short years he managed to kill a relationship with HBO sports because they wouldnt support his mismatched fights.
