Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18KOs) is a frontrunner to face former junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30KOs) on March 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Canelo is coming off a September decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr., while Angulo suffered a tenth round TKO loss to Erislandy Lara in June. I absolutely agree with you.he has been ducking Lara for a while. I blame it on the WBC for putting Lara in 4 straight aluminaters. That protected Alvarez. But none of the fighters are afraid of each other. Period.

I think Angulo will hurt Canelo too. I may be willing to bet on it. If Angulo found Lara, he will find Canelo. I'm not sure Canelo will stand up to the power when he gets hit.
