ok Mr Smart - how do you go about marketing this as Khan would not of fought in a year by the time this fight comes around, his not fought at welterweight, has not beaten top fighter in 2 years and lost his last 2 world title attempts. True boxing fans won't buy this so how do you sell this to the broader public who are not boxing fans. It was easy to sell Canelo and Guerrero - I was asking a question that's all and you have given no answer just quoting figures.

"true boxing fans" as you call them, stream fights because there's so many fights. Nobody buys every ppv. And besides, boxing fans are such a small niche group, that relying on them would be suicide.

Floyd-Khan will easily do better numbers globally and probably also in the US. Khan has had more high-profile fights against the likes of Malignaggi, Judah and Peterson than Maidana has.
