Sergio on the other hand would need to bring Sturm to the States because HBO aren't going to Germany.

Even then, I think HBO will try and make Golovkin the last HBO fight on their contract
I kinda doubt Cotto is a free agent. Maybe he's not with TR, but probably has a multifight contract with HBO. But I could be wrong.

I think HBO would love for Sergio to pass the torch to GGG, but if team is not willing, I think they'd take Sturm. That fight is marketable, you have the DLH story line with 4x champ Sturm.

Cotto back with Arum, but he's free of networks. Doubt he'd sign a multi fight deal over single fight deals.

As for Sergio, he'd have to bring Sturm here to the states... that's serious money

I thought team Cotto denied they were back with Arum, but Steve Kim tweeted he might be locked in by HBO. No idea

You might be right, if Sturm is still making 2m per fight at home (not sure after his losses), it might not be feasible to bring him here. Unless he's got GGG as mando breathing down his neck, that could help change his mind.

Well no idea with Cotto, but no way he fights Golovkin. he won his belt and Golovkin not high enough reward yet

Also GGG mando won't do anything, he avoided it once before

The premise was GGG dropping his belt to become Sturm's mando, since the IBF are better at enforcing these. Unification is still an out

I highly doubt team Golovkin drops not only his WBA, but his IBO too in hopes of getting back in line.

Murray vs Golovkin would be a good scrap. Murray would actually test the champ.

thats is if he decides to get it on with Golovkin cuz he turned down an offer hoping to win the "regular" title, but didnt happen and its back to "interim" (check Boxrec) against the highly regarded Jarrod "Iron Jab" Fletcher
