Floyd seems to be scared of the fighters who are underdog against him. Why hasn't he fought Pac at least two times by now?

Garcia, Bradley would be underdog against Floyd, lets see if he fights them. Maybe Floyd can fight Sergio or GGG at 160 and challenge himself.

Floyd should be thinking everyone thinks Garcia, Bradley, Khans of this world are inferior to me, and I wont fight Pac, so I will fight who they think are my equal. Maybe Sergio or GGG.

Floyd should use his inititiative and challenge himself for once.

People got manipulated by the hype of those fighters "last fight" but the reality is that they beat very questionable opponents and very very very few opponents to speak of.

Floyd avoided the "riskier" opponents that we really wanted Floyd to fight and took those opponents that you mentioned above that had relatively less chance of winning.

      Simple question:
Sergio Martinez or Canelo or Cotto at 154? Which would have been considered riskier for Floyd?

Manny or Guerrero or Ortiz at 147? Which would have been considered riskier for Floyd?

        Sure there are.

There are relative risky fights within his height and weight class, as in guys like Manny Pacquiao.

Then there are risky fights which make as much sense as Kobe Bryant guarding Shaq O'neal, up at Jr. Middleweight. He can be excused for the latter, but not the former.

You can say the same though for Martinez. At 160 I think Canelo would be a tougher fight than Cotto. Sergio wants Cotto. Also who knows if Sergio could've made 154...no one does. It'd be a "walking zombie" if Floyd won and Sergio really was sorta overrated anyhow .... theres a whole thread on it. Manny is with TR and turned down the inital negotiations. Other than Top Rank fighters, when he fought Guerrero and Ortiz who was a better option?

As for Floyd being favored yeah...he's going to be favored in almost 100% of his fights unless he fights way out of his weight class. He doesn't even make 154 yet he's going to fight at 160? Sure a challenge but so would Andre Ward at 168...he's simply not that big and it's a challenge with a low pay out, thats unnecessary.

It's not about challenging Floyd, it is about putting him in a match people feel he will lose.

I had to stop purchasing his fights. The theater of the expected has gotten to be just that.

Everyone should stop purchasing and watching his fights.

Yep, fighters two divisions above his, it's comical really.

                      Mayweather should retire

Nah. Let him fight his remaining exhibition fights. Just find a way to watch them for free. If you're tempted, go to a pub or something. Or gather as many people as you can in your circle and watch it in one house. Be creative. Plan the viewing in advanced. There's also the internet. Haven't tried it, but I'll look for legal streaming where the monthly subscription cost is probably less than seven bucks.
