Some guys fight for legacy and to prove they are the best. We know Sergio doesn't fit this mold of fighter.

You turn down a career high pay day against Cotto, you're ducking Cotto.

Sergio is the biggest fraud in boxing, yet people stay calling Floyd a coward (who started at FW) even after he fights the likes of Canelo.

Sergio has struggled against bums.. Pavlik's drinking and health problems made him a useless bum.. JCC Jr was the slowest, least-skilled MW paper champ in history.. Murray (who?).. Macklin (that boy who get destroyed by GGG like he wasn't ****?).. Barker (that slow ass bum that was stopped in 2 by Sturm?)..

People talking like Golovkin hasn't done **** - the Curtis Stevens that fought Golovkin would murder Martinez.

I'm giving Sergio a 1 fight cushion. He's just coming back, and he's getting paid $$$. If after the Cotto fight, he still ducks, then yeah, coward territory.
If he beats Cotto and then has a chance to fight Mayweather or Alvarez or even rematch against Chavez Jr., the you will simply have to call him a ducker because he will take those fights over a GGG fight any day of the week. It is all about the money and any of those fights will bring him three to six times as much money as a fight with GGG.

Tell me, who are these mystical fighters who don't fight for the most amount of money possible?

Please name me one fighter who has fought for legacy instead of money.

that has 0 percent chance of happening and chavez isn't a big draw anymore after vera, they are on showtime, his fight after cotto has to be on hbo, and an opponent that hbo wants.

Sergio moved up to 160 and took on middleweight kings when he couldn't get a big fight. He's paid his dues. Why can't GGG do the same? Ward is waiting.

If he is still under contract to HBO, the Mayweather fight will not happen. However, the Alvarez fight and the Chavez Jr. fight still can happen because Alvarez is not under contract with Showtime and HBO may come to their senses and agree to work with GBP again. Chavez-Vera was the highest rated fight on HBO this year, so he is still a draw. A fight with Chavez Jr. would still be a PPV event and, even if it only drew 100,000 PPV buys, he would still make three times the money he would make against GGG on regular HBO.
