I'm looking more forward to this fight than either pac or floyd's fight...Do you guys think Lomachenko could eventually work his way up to welter?

And who wins this fight, Lomachenko vs. Gamboa?

I think this is a good fight though iam not as optimistic about salido as are other fans...salido has been in a lot of wars throughout his career, and has declined in the last few years to me....though he looked good in fights wit gamboa) juanma and the cruz's of the world,he looked awful in a fight with one of the best boxer punchers in mikey garcia..theres alot of simularities wit garcia and loma, and theres nothing salido can do to win this fight imo...loma picks him apart and salido quits on his stool..10th rnd

People shouldn't forget that Salido is well passed it and his resistance is very much on the decline.

That said, still a very tough fight for your second pro bout.

          There's no question about it.

He's been declining for a while, especially his ability to take a punch.

I honestly don't know what those "similarities" are. However, you're right, Salido is on the decline. That doesn't mean he isn't dangerous, though.

                He's definitely still dangerous.

He can still punch, he's still solid in most area's albeit not as good as it once was.

The main thing is his resistance, clearly declining and fast. Not surprising considering the wars he's been in and the punishment he's taken.

I said before the Garcia fight that his resistance would be an issue and whilst Garcia's a solid puncher it seemed everytime he landed a decent shot Salido went over.

This must be in line with what Lomo's handlers are seeing. There's no way they'd consciously risk their potential star so early in the game. I like Vasyl a lot and I think he has a bright future, but another side of me would enjoy watching Salido upset the applecart. Not just because I'd laugh at the recklessness of the match-up, but because I like "Siri" as the proverbial blue-collar champion.

I don't care how far in decline Salido is, he looked legit his last fight. Yes, this is not a prime Salido, but this is still Salido. Super worried for Vassya, I hope he can get through this. I love Cuban fighters and don't want them to face my Russia/Ukrainian fighters. I think Rigo would kill Vassya at this point, I am only thinking of Salido. Why can't Rigo own his and Vassya own his division.

                    War Rigo, War Vassya!!!!!

Good. Boxing pedigree are the similarities,a good jab, good fast combos to the head and to the body and ability to move around the ring, lets not forget youth in the equation..salido will be dangerous before he either gets hurt or frustrated, but it should be a good fight.this night will answer alot of questions for everyone...chavez jr and loma got alot to prove
