SOG is the man but he chooses to gimp himself by not properly marketing himself. He knows what sells and what doesn't and he went with the wrong choice and now fans don't like his boring personality. And while he still brings that mentality where people want to watch him lose it's not as many people as it should be. And he takes things to personal IMO, like when he got mad at Floyd for saying Broner had 10x the fans that Ward does which was the truth but Andre came out with some scandalous **** aobut him fighting to fight Floyd at 160 LOL.

The dude is too caught up and emotional all the time but I appreciate his skills and will continue to support the man.

Scandal or exposing of true character hurt your feelings before? Seems like you speak from experience.
Nah, I'm sure I hit a sensitive spot with that post though. I don't worship men or view any of them as role models, especially when we don't even know them on a personal level. You can do that though, it reminds me of the whole Tiger Woods situation, it was sad and comical at the same time.

Not that it matters. Even a rose has to grow from dirt.

Why penalize a man for one or a few sins when the good things they do outweigh them all? Who said anyone was perfect? That's an unrealistic outlook.
Learn to comprehend, then I'll give you a proper response.

          Preach..

Thats why I say Ward should have went down a different road as far as promoting himself goes. The dude is in his 30s and number two P4P and is still relatively unknown other than his own hood. He calls guys like Floyd ignorant and brash and is quick to judge others but he wishes he had came up like that so he could have the positives that come with that ****y attitude. Boxing and its fans are built up on a racial premise anyway so for him to cater to the "good guys" while being a black American was not a good idea from the getgo. He should be the villain. He's one of the so called humble guys in boxing yet they all want to see him knocked out

I'm a fan of Ward as well but look at how egotistical he sounded when he said he wouldn't be dictated to due to status, all because drug testing was brought up. Ward showed his hypocrisy advocating for better drug testing in the sport, and then not being willing to comply with it. The TS obviously hasn't followed Ward.

Yet you don't know me on a personal level but you sure you touched a sensitive spot with a post because I responded? Save the weak/contradictory remarks.

You don't have to worship someone to admire positive qualities they possess &/or wish to improve within yourself. People's minds are too shallow, simple & unrealistic these days.

Except, pertaining to the topic at hand the TS mentioned "Take care of your family, Act for your family, be loyal to them". That's why I brought Tiger Wood's scandal which has nothing to do with how he applied himself in the golf field. This was more than how one applies themselves in the ring, don't be an idiot now.

Don't try to apply what shouldn't be applied here; those are the values he holds.

I simply responded to what you were saying about "worshipping" men as you put it & thought I covered that by saying that people should grow to realize that no one is perfect.

If you think about it you learn either way; that's the beauty of it. But if it suits you not to, you can do that too.
