Very true bro...humans make mistakes. Lets see what type of people they are first, what type of regrets they have, if they are good hearted or not.

What´s wrong with selling shoes? Not all boxers can eran millions nor are exactly educated. Matter of fact, the amount of money paid to boxers nowadays is crazy. They earn more than a scientist, a teacher, a doctor, etc. People who do more important things to society.

And the so called more important people cannot generate anywhere near the type of revenue that an athlete or entertainer can in just one simple weekend.

They don't make more because society's values are misplaced, they make more because of far higher revenue generation.

Don't feel bad Barrios at least you have a job. By the way are you hiring? Some guy outside asked me for a dolla, for some ice cream. I think he said his name is Broner, Adrien Broner. :blow:

Can't expect boxers to run companies like CEOs after they retire right? Most don't have any education after the 12th grade if at all.

Some earn more. The average boxer earns far less.

Plus they lose 35 per cent to promoter and trainer usually. 10 to a manager.
Taxes are 30 to 40 depending on where you fight /live.

Boxing is a tough sport where a huge chunk of the purse is gone.

fighters, not Mayweather, are lucky 2 get 50% of what's signed 4 & most end up broke/desperate...I was in Panama a few years ago & ex-champ Enrique Pinder was living in a wooden shack close to the airport selling fruit ...where he is now I've no idea...Panamanian ex champs used to get $300 pensions a month for life from that gov't...don't know if it still happens...

La hiena crashed into a car that killed a pregnant girl. He escaped from the scene so they couldn't prove he was drunk (he show up hours later). He said he didn't know the other car killed someone but they didn't believe him. He was marginalized from argentine boxing and he wasn't allowed to fight outside the country either (the Morales fight for example). Meanwhile, Barrios lost all his money in lawyers.
