I never said however he beat Floyd level opponents like you claimed, that is a lie. It's also a lie to say I'm discrediting Maidana. Which I'm not. Up to now you haven't given any explanation of what Maidana will do to bother Floyd.

Maidana is an exciting fighter. He's earned his strap, he's fun to watch. But he will get beaten pretty easily by Floyd. I know that's the type of opponent you Floyd fans like. Guys that don't have a prayer, "but put together a lil run for himself". As I've said you and I know Maidana has no chance.
How are you not discrediting Maidana? You're saying fighting him is a cherry pick. That is discrediting him. In a literal sense, that is discrediting him.

I know you didn't actually say that Thurman beat Floyd level opponents my point is you're discrediting Maidana by saying "He hasn't beaten anyone in Floyd's league" and using that logic to justify why it's a cherry pick then on the other hand saying Thurman isn't a cherry pick. So again, which one is it?

I honestly don't know if you think Maidana has a chance or not. Are you lieing today? Or telling the truth? It's impossible to tell.

Me myself, I think he might pose some problems especially for an aging Mayweather.

That's on on Floyd. Has nothing to do with Maidana. I haven't said anything discrediting about the man. It's real simple. Now please tell me what maidana will do to bother Floyd.

How the hell is it on Floyd? You are saying that if Mayweather fights Maidana that it's a cherry pick. That's pretty clearly, in black and white, discrediting him as a fighter. He's a Champion at 147, one of the top contenders at 147, yet apparently he's not worthy for the #1 at 147. That's as clear as you can get in regards to discrediting a man.

What I think Maidana brings to the table that could possibly give Floyd some issues is that Floyd hasn't fought someone who brings intense pressure with good power since Cotto, a fight in which he took some damage. Maidana has a punch that could do damage if he lands. At this stage of his career, with his aging legs especially, Maidana is an opponent I could see pushing him with his awkward style and durability. Also adding the fact he'll have 10 lbs or so on him in the ring.

        • If any other fighter in the world from 140-147 fought Maidana next, it'd be considered a solid/good fight. But not for Floyd.

Maidana would be better than Guerrero or Ortiz IMO, and both of those were solid fights for Mayweather. You know Maidana will bring constant pressure 110% of the time, and will make Floyd work every second of every round. And if he can touch Floyd even a little bit like Cotto did here and there, he has the power to hurt anyone at 147.

          • Come on guys, for Floyd, its only a cherry pick when he fights Top WW Contenders, Champions and Title holders who aren't with Top Rank.
