Pac fought them years after Floyd did. Horrible logic you have going here.
A little insight; what do you call Hatton, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley? Up until Pac started "picking" fighters that do not fight in his weight devision, he was in fact fighting these fighters (as you call it) on the "tail end of their careers". Not only that, its widely known that Floyd is fighting 2 times a year. Outside of the possible Khan fight that I called garbage years ago, Floyd is in fact fighting TOP contenders in his weight devision. Pac is not. The truth be told, Miadana is one of them TOP contenders who is prime, holds a title and is on a 4 fight win streak with 3 by way of KO/TKO. Let that settle for a moment.
Again, same can be said for Pac since his fight with Cotto back in 2009. If only he would at the VERY least fight top contenders in his weight devision. He has not because he picks "fighters at the tail end of their career" like Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley or fighters who do not fight at Welter Weight like JMM, Bradley and Rios. You can give all the excuses you want but the fact is, they were either washed up or not WW's let alone TOP contenders at WW when Pac fought them. At the very least, Ortiz and Guerreo were at WW while Alvarez was at JMW.
Do you understand what double standards are? Or even see how you're argument contradicts your very own logic?
Again, Ortiz, Guerreo and Alvarez are not "yesterdays fighters" as you claim that Floyd only fights. In fact if anything they are fighters who are in their prime. Mayweather continues to fight TOP contenders in his weight class who are in their prime and not as you say "fighters of yesterday". You are in fact lying. It's not even an opinion but a lie.
Floyd cherry picked them at the tail end of their careers just like he did hernandez and what he has literally done his whole career. He is not going to get bravery awards for fighting them. He isn't retired so of course he had to fight them, but he had a notorious reputation for ducking fighters and not letting people see fights that they wanted, so people wouldn't have been surprised if Floyd chose not to fight SSM or DLH. But the fact that he did fight them, don't mean he should be patted on the back and going beyond the call of duty, he hardly fights afterall.
But ideally people want to see Floyd fight and beat better people than yesterdays generation of very good fighters.
Do you understand what double standards are? Or even see how you're argument contradicts your very own logic?
Just because he beat them, don't make out as if he is doing anything everyother boxer in all the other divisions isn't doing.! So again he is a cherry picker, for supposedly being the best in the sport but only dining on yesterdays good fighters and thinking that is enough to justify how good he is supposed to be. Don't try turn the fact that people say Floyd is considered a cherry picker into a positive for Floyd. It reflects badly on Floyd
