I don't see the logic in demanding a Martinez or Golovkin fight though. Neither one is at a weight he is even competing at. You might as well mention Ward for potential opponents. It would be just about as relevant as demanding Mayweather to fight Middleweights.
I would love to see Floyd try his hand at the middleweights like Martinez and GGG. But, he's not obligated to. His body pretty much maxes out at 150lbs. So fighting jr middleweights is a chore. And I have no problem with Floyd be selective about whom he fights at 54 based on risk/reward. DLH and Canelo were record breaking promotions. Well worth the risk. He did a predictable 1.5m with Cotto. Once again, worth the risk. At this point. Guys like Martinez, GGG, and moreso Lara offer up nothing in terms of guaranteed monster numbers. So if he's gonna fight a guy that he'll be fortunate to do a million buys with. It might as well be a Khan or a Chino. Its a stay busy fight in hopes that someone will establish themself as a bigtime opponent for Floyd's fall date. That's just smart business.

A **** fight is the bum a$$ Khan fight. This is actually a decent (not good or bad) fight as Maidana holds a WW title and looked great in his WW debut. Not to mention is 4-0 in his last 4 fights as well with 3 of the 4 by KO/TKO.

Outside of the two Top Rank WW's (Bradley and Pac) this is the best WW fight to be made at the moment as Garcia isn't ready and rightfully so.
Maidana looked absolutely awful in his first fight at WW against Devon Alexander.

Much rather Mayweather fight Khan. Maidana is flatfooted, Mayweather would dominate him and win on points.

Yes he did, my bad. Debut was obviously wrong here. I meant in his last outing vs Broner, the most recent and relevant fight that he won at WW.

I was pretty sure you didn't mean debut, but thought I'd check anyway Mayweather-Maidana is a decent WW unification fight, 10X better than Khan.

I rather see Floyd vs Khan, Khan possesses more of a challenge fo Mayweather than Chino, Chino is more of the same.......hope for a lucky punch that all.

Khan on the other hand has speed and can also punch, plus he owned MM already and I don't think Mayweather have the power to crak Amir's chin.

I don't really understand Garcia's thought process in not wanting an immediate shot at Floyd. Yes, he keeps proving the critics wrng every time out. But this kid isn't an elite talent. I compare him to Mares. Yes, he's willing himself to wins. But he's a guy that I can see being beaten by someone totally unexpected. If you're not a Pacquiao or a Canelo, who's drawing power was largely dependent on "being the guy to beat Floyd." I really don't see why you don't take the fight first chance you get. Because even if Danny is routed by Floyd. He's lost nothing because he wasn't expected to win and he's still the champ at 40.

However a lot of people on here will start to **** all over him because that would mean FLoyd is looking to fight him and people always **** on the fighters Floyd is looking to fight. These types of fans hide behind Top Rank fighters and fighters who fight at Middle Weight and beyond because obviously those fights won't ever happen.
I think Lara Vs Mayweather is the best way to go on skill wise (not so much on the PPV sales) but Lara is the only one that can give Floyd a run for his money (no pun intended)

Danny Garcia has self respect and self belief, that's why he doesn't sell himself out against Mayweather.
