maidana? he's really not that good, yeah he beat broner but so what, devon alexander outboxed him,so why won't Floyd? Floyd picking an easy opponent, someone with no movement, really no boxing skills and kind of slow, perfect for Floyd and he'll sell this fight on how good maidana is because he beat broner,whatever....I think a better opponent would be someone fast and strong like keith Thurman, heck I prefer khan, atleast khan has speed and uses his jab at a distance and that right there can give Floyd a better fight than what maidana would..if he picks maidana then we already know who will win and what he will say after the fight is over.."i wanted to knock him out but I hurt myself after the third round, otherwise I would have ko'd him"...yeah right,he always says something like that,he said samething after canelo fight yet I saw him fight the exact same way for the entire fight

I don't see the logic in demanding a Martinez or Golovkin fight though. Neither one is at a weight he is even competing at. You might as well mention Ward for potential opponents. It would be just about as relevant as demanding Mayweather to fight Middleweights.

I have no interest in either of these fights. I have no doubt that the targeted opponent was the Garcia-Matthysse winner. Which is why they had it on the Floyd-Ginger undercard. Probably figured Lucas was gonna win. And probably figured either way, neither would turn down an immediate shot at Floyd, which Danny did. Let's hope Danny makes his 47 debut on the undercard, likely against either Paulie, Guerrero, or Ortiz. And that sets the stage for Floyd-Danny in Sept. Would be a nice lil nugget to throw AB on there too. Best opponent for him would be Peterson, or the kid he's fighting should he lose that one. Nice comeback opponent for AB. Plus very sellable as his "4th title in as many divisions."

What??Alexanders and Garcias left overs???It'll probably be Khan because then Floyd could MAYBE FNALLY get a legit ko and he'll say " I don't need to fight Chino because I beat Khan and Khan beat Chino."I'll be watching. ..on a free live stream because these fights arent worth $60.Hopefully it sells at the movies for $15

Former 140-pound champion Amir Khan (28-3, 19KOs) has been mentioned as the frontrunner for several months. Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) has now emerged as a realistic candidate after winning a very impressive twelve round decision over Adrien Broner to capture the WBA welterweight crown earlier this month. However a lot of people on here will start to **** all over him because that would mean FLoyd is looking to fight him and people always **** on the fighters Floyd is looking to fight. These types of fans hide behind Top Rank fighters and fighters who fight at Middle Weight and beyond because obviously those fights won't ever happen.

A **** fight is the bum a$$ Khan fight. This is actually a decent (not good or bad) fight as Maidana holds a WW title and looked great in his WW debut. Not to mention is 4-0 in his last 4 fights as well with 3 of the 4 by KO/TKO.
Outside of the two Top Rank WW's (Bradley and Pac) this is the best WW fight to be made at the moment as Garcia isn't ready and rightfully so.
