Marquez looks fine at 147 but Broner, the WBA welterweight champion, up until Maidana is not a welterweight. Marquez looks fine but Junior, a middleweight Champ who beat Canelo, is not a junior middle weight. Funny I haven't seen you mention that Pac is no where near true welterweight which is probably the most obvious but I guess it doesn't matter. Any man that runs to a higher weight class, get a belt there and confident enough to defend it at the weight class certainly belongs there. I mean which one is it. Your argument has to be consistent and just don't use it where it benefits your fav fighters. Am just saying.

WTF is yo dumbass talking about? Just because a fighter is capable of competing in a division higher than his natural weight doesn't mean he's solid in the division. Only special fighters are capable of doing that. Bronerappears to not be special. Floyd's special. Pac's special. JMM is special. Which is why they can compete against bigger guys. Manny is maybe the second, and no worse than the third or fourth best welterweight in boxing. He also happens to be an elite fighter. So JMM being able to best a fighter like that leads me to believe he's more than capable of holding his own again most of the world's top welters. The size wasn't the problem against Floyd. It was the skill. Folks need to get over it.

BTW, Broner being capable of moving up and defeating an aging Malignaggi isn't anywhere near being in the same catagory as JMM beating Manny. So that's a ****** parallel.

hitking - big deifference wit JMM v Floyd is JMM jumped up two weight classes just by adding weight not muscle - and pls don't pretend that the JMM that fought Floyd was the same guy that fought Pac last yr. night and day. fighters are beter closer to 40 when they juice - just like Bonds was better at 40 then at 30. pretty obvious to most what was goin on with JMM last yr as opposed to when he fought floyd

Bull****. He took his ass right back down to 35 after fighting Floyd and didn't come back up till the third fight with Pac. And he wasn't working with Memo for that one and still kicked Pac's ass in a lotta people's eyes. BTW, he was just as muscled up for Bradle as he was when he ICED Pac's ass. Its a bull**** excuses about what went down with Floyd. The reality is, Floyd sat on his couch for two years and came back and treated Pac's current daddy like a tune-up opponent.
