If Margarito Beat Cotto down pretty sure quite a few ATG like Chavez sr would have Medrick Taylor'd him inside of 6.

I think a prime Cotto beats both Floyd and Pacman at 147. I also think all 3 still lose to a prime Margarito (plastergate) in tact.

Are you serious lol? Prince naseem would have beat many atg featherwights by the time barrera stepped up Hamed lost intrest in the sport, its a shame he could have been much greater but never the less he fought everyone and was a world champion 5yrs running and brought attention, fame and money to the lower weights period.

And back to your question Cotto is a very good fighter and would beat a few ATG depending on the night, as the saying goes in boxing anything can happen and 1 punch can literally change a fight.

depends what fighters you would consider atg. plenty of atg have lost to much lesser fighters based on the match up or other circumstances like boxing age.

If Cotto could beat them in their prime in their best weight class then I don't think they would be all time greats. I consider Cotto a very good fighter who is very popular and he has a crowd pleasing style. I don't think he is an all time great but I am sure lots of his fans think he is an all time great.
