I wouldn't mind Angulo in March, so long as he fought Lara/Molina in the summer. Both are coming off losses, and at least Angulo looked pretty good in his loss. He pushed Lara to the brink and it was a close fight when the eye thing happened.

Still, it should be Molina in March, then Lara in the summer hopefully.

I hope it's Angulo. Nobody cares about Lara or wants to watch him fight except for the 5 Cubans on here and Puerto Ricans that hate all Mexicans. Eventually Canelo will fight Lara, just not yet.

Canelo vs. Angulo sounds good. And I would put someone like Omar Figueroa on the undercard, and also Daniel Ponce De Leon. If it's a PPV it needs a strong undercard with exciting fights.

Put Molina vs. Lara on different card.

Why am I not surprised by this announcement? Maybe it is because I predicted that one of these guys would be Alvarez's comeback opponent. Angulo is a come-forward, face first limited brawler. He is perfect for making Alvarez look good. Molina is a solid fighter with limited punching power. He will make Alvarez look like a beast.

Why not Lara or Kirkland? Because Lara would make Alvarez look foolish and Kirkland has enough power to knock him out.

Man....Angulo would be the worst choice, but still a legit one at the least. He did push Lara to the brink in their fight.

Molina is a very good fight, just not one that will be fun to watch. Molina has wins over Ishe, Cintron, and should probably have W's over Lara and Kirkland. He's one of the Top 5 JMW for sure.

Some of these people on here need to stop talking about quitting... bunch of 9 to 5 working as people who never took a punch to the face consistently talking about angulo is a quitter? Lol ... dude went to war with kirland in a classic hurt as ****and tired still push himself to try... can you imagine feeling like your eye is out the socket or something pinching thru it in split sec? We all know angulo eats punches to the face lol trust me he knew something wasn't normal ... so what couple of more punches leaving him blind in one eye.. a glass Margarito eye.. what we cheer him for a month while he never fights again never to earn a income for his family .. **** out of here... quitting is what Judah did against Khan and clottey loosing finding a way out .... you guys are a trip on here

Molina is a threat but he's boring as hell
Alvarez needs an exciting fight to get his mojo back
he can look for another title after that

Angulo could beat Canelo honestly. If he landed on Lara like that you know he'll bust up cinnamon... good fight imo
